I LOVE Pink Saturdays!!!

I'd like to thank Bev at
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ for giving me the wonderful opportunity to join Pink Saturday and meet such lovely people and browse their gorgeous blogs!!!
I look forward to pink Saturday so much!!!

Last week I did not participate as I was soooo busy with the kids and the family and I really didn't have time to plan my posts- so I just visited some pretty blogs.

While out and about this week, I found the most precious egg decorations at Marshalls. That store has the best holiday decorations!! They are so delicate and so sweet. I knew I had to add them to my collection of pretties!
I am gradually putting out my Easter decorations. The little faux chocolate bunny I found at a thrift store a few months ago for only 50 cents.
I am in the process of making my own faux candy now!! Can't wait to see how they come out!!

The feather boa wreath was a super duper find at Michaels. I got to use my 40%off one item on this beauty!! It was 14.99 and I paid 9.99 for it!!!
I have a matching pink feather boa tree I made a few years ago that I am going to put on a shelf next to the wreath. It's so pretty I'm afraid to put it on my slamming door!!! So I hung it on the wall in the entry!!

This winter has been unusually cold here in FL and I am dying for some color!!!
Our grass has turned brown, we lost most of our plants out front and I am so sad!! I think this year I am going to be adding some faux foliage and flowers to front landscape. Nothing tacky....just some color!!! Please... I need some color out here!!! I am not used to this brown everywhere!!

Speaking of brown....here is my front door. I finally changed my fall wreath to this spring/Easter one. Yet another Marshalls find for only 6.99.
It is so pretty with the little eggs.
So as you can...I am ready for spring!!!
While I stay busy crafting and decorating- I will try to remember warmth is just around the corner!!
Now I know-I shouldn't even be complaining compared to what some of my friends and family have to deal with up north- but this is Florida!!!
Today's high is 52 degrees!!!!
Ahh..... so much for wanting a white Christmas!!!
I get the cold- but no snow!!!
Be careful what you wish for!!! LOL
Hugs,
Jenn~

Hi Jenn,
What beautiful pinks! I was going to get that same pink feather wreath at Michaels last week but another lady picked it up before I got to it! I was so disappointed!! Oh well, perhaps she needed it more than I did. You shared lovely pinks today; the eggs are darling! Happy Pink Saturday.

Blessings,
Sandi

Marshall's is such a treasure trove, isn't it? I love the eggs. I can't believe it's time to start thinking about Easter! Don't worry, Spring color is on the way. I know what you mean - the only color I've seen around here for a month is white! Have a great week! Terri
