Here are 7 things about me!!
I really don't know too mant people in the blogging world so I'm really not sure who to tag- but I will list 7 things about me!!
1. I love Savannah, GA!!
I read the story "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and saw the movie a million times!! About 7 years ago my husband and I visited Savannah, GA and I love the city!!
And if you look carefully at my kitchen pics I have a statue of the lady in cemetary from a scene in the movie!!!
2. I read mysteries!!
As a child I was a big fan of Nancy Drew and as an adult I read more suspence thrillers like John Saul. I just love to read but sadly have little time for it now!!
3. I took tap and ballet when I was three years old. Just like one of my own babies!! Except I was only there for a few months and my nickname was chatterbox!!!
Who would have guessed!!!
4. My teenage crush was Donnie Walberg from New Kids on the Block!!
Oh how I loved them!!!
5. I only drink soda from a glass. Unless I have absolutely no choice at all- I will only drink soda from a glass- I hate cans!!
6. I have been to the twin towers twice!!
Never been to Ground Zero, however I did visit the World Trade CEnter twice. Once in 1986 and again in the early 1990s. I was deathly afraid in the elevator going up 110 stories and nearly had a panic attack while standing outside trying to look up to the top of the building- I was so afraid it would come falling down on me!!!
7. The song "Rainbow Connection" still makes me cry!!
For some unexplainable reason as a child Kermits "Rainbow Connection" made me cry and it still does to this day!!!
So there it is!!
If you read this and would like to participate in the tag- please leave me a coment. I don't even know how to tag people!! How sad am I!!!
This was fun- thanks for thinking of me Melissa!!!

Whats on top of your fridge????
For a while there the top of the fridge was unnavigated territory!!
Two years ago while pondering what to put on the top of my kitchen cabinets I offically moved to romantic decor. I placed plates and tea cups and all sorts of pretties on the tops of the cabinets- so I after I scrubbed the top of the dust bunny decorated fridge I put even more pretties up there. I bought the cake stand at Michaels and often use it for my pink cupcakes- then I filled the large basket with my favorite roses!!
Gone are the days of wondering what could possibly be at the top of the fridge- now I just have to keep cleaning it!!!

Baby and Me invite you to tea
We did not offically join the make mine pink virtual tea party but I thought I'd share our special tea together.
Ms. Madison of Whinenroses hosted a lovely tea party for her mama.
We had such a great time and she even invited her little friends.
The hostess did a wonderful job of making her mama feel right at home!

Angels amoung us....
Always busy
I just can't seem to slow down!! I am always working on something!
I painted this old tv stand- a light pink and added some pretties.
The frame I found at the thrift store for 50cents so I painted that and added the lace and pearls. The birdcage was also a thrift store find around a dollar I think!! I painted it pink and added the roses.
Most of the kids are gone all day so the house is fairly quiet. The baby and I are enjoying our mommy and me time together!
They grow up so fast!! Before you know it you are sending them to middle school!!
I was pulled into girl scouts once again. I will be leading Mikayla's daisy troop and I have alot of fun parties planned!! A teddy bear tea, ice cream social and many craft parties!!
I am excited about the time Mikayla and I will be spending together!!

Letters to Santa
Trim finishs off bathrom
Our Bedroom-nearly done!!
I am so excited to have our master bedroom near completion!
It took many back breaking, long hours to remove three layers of wallpaper border. We tried one wallpaper removal and didn't work- we tried another which did work much better but it took a very long time to peel off the last layer. Finally it is almost done however there are still many imperfections and I think crown molding may be the answer!! That is for another weekend.
Poor Michael worked harder on his three day off then he does at work!
There are still some details I'd like to add.
The furniture took me three days to finish as well. The first I sanded, and painted all the pieces, the next day was touch ups and third day I put on a clear coat of
Valspar clear protector.
I am very happy with it and it was the first major project I took on all by myself!!
